rust_glancer
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.enable
Whether to enable https://github.com/rust-glancer/rust-glancer
rust-glancer, an incomplete-by-design Rust language server optimized
for low memory usage and near-instant editor restarts.
VS Code is currently the only officially supported editor; the project
only publishes .vsix packages, so the rust-glancer binary must be
built from source for use with Nvim:
git clone https://github.com/rust-glancer/rust-glancer
cd rust-glancer
cargo build --release -p rust-glancer
# add target/release/ to $PATH, or point `cmd` at the built binary
rust-src is required regardless of editor:
rustup component add rust-src
Diagnostics (cargo check) are disabled by default; enable them via
diagnostics.onStartup / diagnostics.onSave below.
The server reads its configuration only from the LSP
initializationOptions sent on startup (there is no
workspace/configuration support), so options must be set via
init_options, not settings:
vim.lsp.config('rust_glancer', {
init_options = {
diagnostics = {
onSave = true,
},
},
})
See configuration
docs for the
full set of options (cfg, indexing, cargo, cache,
diagnostics)…
Type: boolean
Default:
false
Example:
true
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.package
Package to use for rust_glancer. Nixpkgs does not include this package, and as such an external derivation or null must be provided.
Type: null or package
Default: No package, throws when undefined
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.packageFallback
When enabled, the language server package will be added to the end of the PATH (suffix) instead of the beginning (prefix).
This can be useful if you want local versions of the language server (e.g. from a devshell) to override the Nixvim version.
Type: boolean
Default:
false
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.autostart
Whether to call vim.lsp.enable() for the language server.
Type: boolean
Default:
true
Example:
false
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.cmd
A list where each entry corresponds to the blankspace delimited part of the command that launches the server.
The first entry is the binary used to run the language server. Additional entries are passed as arguments.
Type: null or (list of string)
Default:
null when package is null, otherwise null
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.extraOptions

Type: attribute set of anything
Default:
{ }
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.filetypes

Type: null or (list of string)
Default:
null
Declared by:
plugins.lsp.servers.rust_glancer.rootMarkers
A list of files that mark the root of the project/workspace.
Vim’s LSP will try to share the same language server instance for all
buffers matching filetypes within the same project.
A new server instance is only spawned when opening a buffer with a different project root.
See :h lsp-config and :h vim.fs.root().
Type: null or (list of (string or raw lua code)) or raw lua code

Type: open submodule of attribute set of lua value
